Fan Protest #1 - Boycott the Cleveland Browns vs. Tampa Bay game on Christmas Eve

Watch Channel 3 WKYC.com News Video Here.

Why will this boycott/protest work?
Because the ONLY way to get owner Randy Lerner's attention is to show him that we will stop coming to the games. Have more questions? Find them on the right of this page.

 !  Protest #1 - Cleveland Browns 2006-2007

Our first Fan Protest is brought to us from Jim, a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan who asks all Browns fans to not go to the Christmas eve Tampa Bay/Browns game.

Questions for Jim? Contact him via email.

What do you have to do to take part in this protest?

  1. Easy, don't go to the game versus Tampa Bay on Christmas eve. How do you think it will appear to Randy Lerner when there are 60,000 empy seats in Cleveland Browns Stadium? ONLY that will get his attention that we are sick and tired of a losing team.

What should I do with the money I normally spend at the stadium?

  1. This is only a suggestion, but why not take the money you normally spend and donate it to a Cleveland-based charity of your choice? Who needs it more? Randy Lerner, or your home town?

Won't this hurt the Browns and stadium employees?

  1. No. All employees will still get paid, all the players will still get their checks. The only person to suffer will be Randy Lerner and the profits from stadium concessions. THAT is the only way to make our voices heard.

Am I being disloyal by taking part?

  1. We all love our Browns, no question. But do you want them to get better? If so, you need to make your voice heard. Money talks, especially to billionaires. Let's let Randy know we want a winner, don't go to the game, stay at home with your family, watch it on tv, save yourself a lot of money.
